Fascination

Fascination with the mythical world whilst

Aspiring to understand that which is truth and that which is

Superimposed, like an ancient artist’s canvas, where secrets lie hidden

Collecting layer upon layer of non-conclusive detail, yet remaining

Indiscriminate to choosing one side or the other.

Nevertheless the sheer value of immersing oneself into the amazing

Accolades of the Gods and Goddesses and the legions since inspired to tell of

Tremendous acts and amazing abilities that only immortal beings could do.

Irreplaceable relationships with humankind; often leading to mixing bloodlines

Omniscient creatures who spread their lineage amongst both gods and men.

Not for the sake of anything, other than their own pleasure.

The children of Gods and Goddesses were known as demi-gods; in some cultures they are the central characters of the stories of heroism.  They weren’t actual gods, but had powers that set them apart from other mortals. We’ve had a fascination with them and their actions throughout history; possibly more than their immortal parents.  To learn more about demi-Gods, check out this website.

I write about everything and sometimes nothing at all. I'm fascinated by old things, rusty things, abandoned places, or anywhere that a secret might be unearthed. I'm passionate about history and many of my pieces are anchored in one concept of time or another. I've always been a writer, dating back to my youth, but the last decade has been a time of growth for me. I'm continually pushing the limitations of vocabulary, syntax, and descriptive phrasing.

Great job on this acrostic, Ralph. I have had a fascination with the mythologies of the world since I can remember. Well penned, an enjoyable read.

Great acrostic and this one is done with such suitable style and appropriate information. It wraps up well the ways of the Gods and their mystical whims and fancies!
