Writers On the Web Rasma Raisters

By Rasma Raisters

Lost hearts on the wind

Lost hearts on the wind

Into love we’re thrown

With no thought of our own

Like a child in the unknown

Running to get home

Lost hearts on the wind

There’s a liar out there

Looking to break your heart

Tears like pearls falling

Somewhere a better man is calling

For now in despair you’re falling

Gotta find your right man, yeah

You cannot love this man

You cannot love this man

You must let go of his hand

He’ll never understand

Everything now depends on you

You must seek your love so true

Lost hearts on the wind

Lost hearts on the wind

Into love we’re thrown

With no thought of our own

Like a child in the unknown

Running to get home

Lost hearts on the wind

Lost hearts on the wind

Lost hearts on the wind

Lost hearts on the wind

Lost hearts on the wind

Really wanted to give this a try. I get inspired quite often by all kinds of music. Glad you enjoyed this Phyllis.

Glad you decided to enter the contest and give it your touch of love, or lost love. Good job.

Ah the cheaters and liars cutting loose under the guise of lost hearts on the wind. I like this and the flow is good. A great contribution Rasma to the challenge. Bravo and well done.

I like this take on Writers on the Web. Turning it into a lost love poem worked well.

    Rasma,

I came back to reread this because I love the uniqueness of your lyrics! You did a fantastic job on it, and I admire the fact that you changed the subject matter to “Lost Hearts” 🙂 It’s so creative!

Very well done Rasma, and who can rule our hearts, protect them from break? Such a poignant take and expressive message. Enjoyed it!

    Best,
    Mel
