Animal Musings About When Pigs Fly

Animal musings …

animal musings

Son: Cool ! So is it okay now, Dad, if we visit the zoo?
Dad: I think I forgot to say something about a snowball’s chance in hell.
~~~
animal musings
Oh happy days, she will move to my burrow now.
~~~

animal musings

Okay, I know you’re back there! I can smell you! What are you all hiding for? It ain’t like
I’m going to turn into a meerkat eating monster like you once thought. I told you that
would never happen unless …
~~~
animal musings
Sorry, didn’t know you were back there. Felt good though. Did you just call me a pig?
~~~

animal musings

Listen up, Zebes! There ain’t no such thing! So stop the jokes now about me losing my
stripes. I’m still the Captain!

~~~
animal musings
Well … I was the Captain. Darn pig!
~~~

animal musings

Stupid pig!
~~~
animal musings
Everybody hide. Pretend you didn’t see it!
~~~

animal musings

Look, Fred, there ain’t no such thing!

~~~
animal musings
Uhhmm – I think we should listen to Fred.
~~~

animal musings

Do these stripes make my butt look too big? What do you mean – oblivious to what?
~~~
animal musings
I didn’t see anything in the sky!
~~~

animal musings

What is daddy doing up there?

~~~
animal musings
Well, he sure ain’t taking a mud bath.
~~~

animal musings

Albert, get down! I told you to not eat that green plant – now you’re higher than a kite!
~~~
animal musings
I said I’m sorry! And I ain’t a pig!
~~~

animal musings

I’m outta here! Everybody’s nuts! Must be a bad moon rising.

~~~
Yep! Sometimes a writer just flips out and does something silly – just for the heck of it. Yesterday I heard my neighbor say, “When pigs fly!” and I got to thinking about animal musings when pigs fly. You just never know what animals may be thinking.
I have always liked to write.It is important to me that I write with spirit and heart. When writing poetry, if I do not feel a spiritual connection to what I am writing on, I will discard it and go on to something I can connect with on a spiritual level. I live in the moment, I write from the past or beyond the veil. When writing fiction I go with whatever inspires me at the moment - it could be funny, sorrowful, romantic or sometimes done with the use of colloquial language from mountain folk or other cultural regions.     Great stuff, Phyllis. This brought a smile to my day. Your captions for the photos are well done. We all need to bring out our silly side from time to time.
    Ah this was so cute, I loved all the positions you placed their state of alarm in. Your right some days, we all wonder if pigs do fly and let loose like you did. Well done Phyllis, you put a big smile on my animal face today. You captured the moment so well.
    Priceless! My favorite was the first one. The looks on their faces were just priceless. I have always loved a good musing. Great job!
