You’ve Been Exposed – How’s That Feeling?

Are you finding,

What you’re seeking?

And what lies hidden

Beneath your greeting?

Have you found

Some hidden meaning?

Or are you lost

In a land of dreaming?

Shuffling plans

Just like you’re scheming?

Three card monte

Plans misleading?

Are you seeking

Souls for feeding?

A quest for innocents

While they’re sleeping?

Who’s the company

You’ve been keeping?

Surrounding yourself

With a bunch of weaklings?

So many sheeple,

Can you hear their bleating?

Are those controlling words

You planned on speaking?

You know your speeches

Sound like preaching?

Who taught you to lie

Just like you’re teaching?

With so many voices

Do you feel you’re competing?

When you lose

Do you turn to cheating?

Or throw a tantrum

And start your shrieking?

Do you cut yourself

Are you bleeding?

Are you sheltered

From those critiquing?

Can you face

The ones you’re meeting?

On even terms

Without the pleading?

Afraid your words

Will be fatiguing?

Your followers

Will end up leaving?

Is that the sound

Your heart makes beating?

Why so anxious

In your breathing?

You’ve been exposed

So how’s that feeling?

We all know this type of individual; someone who tries to dominate others by gaslighting them or confusing them.  They try to gather a crowd of willing “yes-people” who will do their bidding and drink their Kool-Aid.  But what happens when they are exposed?  And by being exposed, does it make them more dangerous than ever before?
