Through the Eyes of an Eagle

Through the Eyes of an Eagle
Through the Eyes of an Eagle

Each lapping of the sea,
each stroke of time that bares the weight of me,
I feel how life implores,
attesting to the righteous path and more,
so endings come at no cost at all,
just a momentary lull in transformation.

And with eyes seen through an eagle on high,
every moment, every aspiration dry,
the sorrows and the joys like waves obey,
the written paths of meaning what to say,
when knowing every day
is a gift in a journey long.

So much I see, so much hurt, so many tears,
yet learning gives us flight after many years,
to see why we suffer so, how we are delivered,
by our own mistakes given
to accept responsibility,
for all we are meant to experience.

There can be no regret,
for that which delivers us to now, what we set
as the path to follow, our choices made,
and within them the consequences laid down,
for us to find ourselves and accept the crown,
be exactly who we are.

And within time and with an open heart,
we may leave this life a part,
of a harmonious plan and infinite rhythm,
as we aspire in wisdom,
to join the divine ascension,
as souls meld into perfection, and all earthy pain is gone.
