More Pollution, No Solution

more pollution

Plastic bottles

Won’t be fossils

Nor will cans

Or frying pans

Too much debris

As you can see

No control

Filling holes

Growing bumps

Garbage dumps

Every day

We throw away

Broken glass

Tin and brass

Computer parts

Broken carts

Fast food bags

Dirty rags

Contributions

More pollution

Garbage piles

Stretch for miles

Rusted steel

Broken wheel

Used razors

Piles of paper

Weather vane

Window pane

Find a stash

For our trash

Plastic sack

White or black

Great earth movers

Quick maneuvers

Cover up

The broken cups

Soil laced

With plastic waste

Overflowing

Nothing growing

No solution

More pollution

I write about everything and sometimes nothing at all. I'm fascinated by old things, rusty things, abandoned places, or anywhere that a secret might be unearthed. I'm passionate about history and many of my pieces are anchored in one concept of time or another. I've always been a writer, dating back to my youth, but the last decade has been a time of growth for me. I'm continually pushing the limitations of vocabulary, syntax, and descriptive phrasing.
