Wilderness Moments

Wilderness Moments …

wilderness moments

Wilderness moments take me to beautiful places,
where Nature shows the glory of our existence.

The gentle touch of flowers arouse my senses as fragrant
pleasures capture my heart and stir my soul.

These precious moments are here to explore
all the hidden places that excite and bring pleasure.

Sensuous feelings engulf me within a heavenly
place and time beyond, where only ecstasy abides.

A provocative species of wild beauty piques my interest
as a lovely flower dances among the folds of a sacred abode.

If only I could hold these moments forever, close to my heart,
yet, I will not interrupt the flow of this one dance.

I will stay with it for its time of performance and
enjoy every single minute of the pleasures it freely gives.

To enjoy the wilderness, the wild passion of what I
encounter I must sway, and become one with it all.

I become one with the forces of Nature, and
linger in the passionate emotions of the wild.

To enjoy every nuance and feeling is all I want,
all else fades away in the essence of pure love.

Wilderness moments, this special time, take me to where
there is no time, nothing but the present experience.

Only these wilderness moments exist as I stay
in the loving arms of Nature.

Passion subsides and the joy bathes me in warmth,
the warmth of a deep love so divine.

And I sleep in the protective arms of Nature,
where all I dream of is the warmth of the afterglow.

I am an author on TCE and write mainly in poetry and short stories. I have always liked to write. It is important to me that writing comes from my heart and soul. When writing poetry, if I do not feel a spiritual connection to what I am writing on, I will discard it and go on to something I can connect with on a spiritual level. I live in the moment, I write from the past or beyond the veil. When writing fiction I go with whatever inspires me at the moment - it could be funny, sorrowful, romantic or sometimes done with the use of colloquial language from mountain folk or other cultural regions. I began writing content online in 2007, starting with BellaOnline - A Voice For Women, where I was the Native American Editor, Folklore & Mythology Editor, and the Appalachian Editor. I also wrote articles for The Examiner, Daily Two Cents, and Yahoo. I am currently an author on HubPages. Most of what I write takes a lot of research and I love it. Even if it is a fictional story, I will research for accuracy in whatever it takes to make my characters, their era, their location, etc. become realistic to the reader. I hope you enjoy my works. Thank you for visiting.

Lovely Phyllis, so warm and loving of the beauty of nature and life, seen through accepting eyes the ways of the natural world, so soothing and comforting in its timeless rhythms. Each line evoked another sense, another image of endless beauty; a beautiful rendition. Well done Phyllis.

Phyllis, this poem says so well how I feel inside about nature. I’ve spent some time in the wilderness and can relate so well with the sense of oneness I have felt at those times. Thank you for this beautiful poem.

All I can say, Phyllis, is that this poem puts right in the middle of this beautiful wilderness that you’ve described. Thank you!
