Happened Moment

Alas, this happened moment

When forth come blessing

Flows doth spill from frozen peaks

Awakening the lost sensation

Tis forthwith, apodictic revelation

Oft divine to worthy souls

Absolute in application

Forth countenance illuminative

Accommodation nary questioned

For vision blind does disregard

While sighted distance imminent

Endless ways soon interlaced

Surrendered age of feelings lost

Passions berthed, nay, left subsided

Forsaken, true, yet not forgotten

Parceled, packed, still unmended

Consigned behind those timeless curtains

Expectations placed but common

Revealed upon the pedestal

Tis ever, hopes did felt a chosen

Then dashed across the salted shallow

From fleeting light, beset to journeys

Accolades earthly, yet uninspiring

Beseech, one bow to other seeking

Nary one, hath given measure

Of worthiness, seeking infamy

For none of deference, and little else

Guiltless, such their unfledged eyes

To that the cravings far beneath

A lifting hand, free of elucidation

Standing bold with proper measure

Whispered verse on gilded clouds

Delicate in form relations

Vision cast with all extension

Reaching forth with gentle hand

Steadfast caress, and true familiar

Delightful steeped in leisurely

Convergent pace, such gilded fancy

Enjoinment on a truth horizon

Vast in thought thus entertained

Herefore shall the twilight reign

Grappled dusk, then merely vision

Forward, true, with cuirass cast

The knowing shield of certainty

Neither history nor future lain capture

Tis the endless moment thus retained

I write about everything and sometimes nothing at all. I'm fascinated by old things, rusty things, abandoned places, or anywhere that a secret might be unearthed. I'm passionate about history and many of my pieces are anchored in one concept of time or another. I've always been a writer, dating back to my youth, but the last decade has been a time of growth for me. I'm continually pushing the limitations of vocabulary, syntax, and descriptive phrasing.
