Many Seasons We Live

The many seasons we live create memories,
an archive of sharing and caring
with loved ones, friends and others
we have never met in person,
people all over the world
who read our poetry, stories
and other works we have created.

Seasons We Live

Season after season we are here
with heart and soul,
sharing words of wisdom, inspiration,
love, and kindness.

Sometimes we have a rant
that must come out afore it ravages
our brain,
sometimes others may disagree with us
and rant back,
this is okay, for we are human
and have our own opinions,
yet when the dust has cleared
we find we are still good friends
who respect each other.

Be thou attuned to your inner voice,
let not little bumps in the road
deter you from expressing
or striving to understand others
and where they are coming from.

Fear not ageing and nearing the end of life,
for it is but another season on our path,
and we must go forth when this life is over,
death is the last step in this life
and the first step into a new world,
a new life,
know ye then, thy works will live on and on
for generations to come and may even some day
be considered great works of antiquity.

Go forth ye teller of tales and poetic expressions,
with wings on your words and faith in yourself,
to touch the hearts of all who read your works
of creative genius.

These are the many seasons we live,
honor and love each season you pass through,
with love and peace in your heart and soul.

I am an author on TCE and write mainly in poetry and short stories. I have always liked to write. It is important to me that writing comes from my heart and soul. When writing poetry, if I do not feel a spiritual connection to what I am writing on, I will discard it and go on to something I can connect with on a spiritual level. I live in the moment, I write from the past or beyond the veil. When writing fiction I go with whatever inspires me at the moment - it could be funny, sorrowful, romantic or sometimes done with the use of colloquial language from mountain folk or other cultural regions. I began writing content online in 2007, starting with BellaOnline - A Voice For Women, where I was the Native American Editor, Folklore & Mythology Editor, and the Appalachian Editor. I also wrote articles for The Examiner, Daily Two Cents, and Yahoo. I am currently an author on HubPages. Most of what I write takes a lot of research and I love it. Even if it is a fictional story, I will research for accuracy in whatever it takes to make my characters, their era, their location, etc. become realistic to the reader. I hope you enjoy my works. Thank you for visiting.

Nicely said Phyllis, and yes we shall write til we can no more and then hopefully carry on in the next life. We all share profound feelings and connection as writers and also as souls on a journey, and it is indeed a gratifying experience. Great work Phyllis.

Thank you sincerely, Tony. TCE is not just my job, it is a home for me with good friends I love and yes, it is a gratifying experience as we learn from each other and grow spiritually. Take care.

Splendid words indeed Phyllis. Never fear the end, it’s a new beginning. Our journey into the new realm is set for us, enjoy the days here, love our fellow man, woman and child. Let our creativity never end, pen, pen and pen some more. A legacy we leave.

Just a wee note, I believe a typo in the word “genious”, should be genius;-)

I love it. Yeah we all have differences of opinion, meaning behind our words, ways we think the story should have gone, but in the end we all respect each other enough to nod the head, respect the work and understand that we all have a difference of opinion. Each season we find new paths to cross new roads to lead us on a journey, new adventures to write about. And who better to share it with than the little community we have created here. Beautiful work and message you have here Phyllis. Nicely done

Lovely and inspirational words, Phyllis. life is certainly full of different stages we could call seasons. Yes, you are right we all may have differences of opinions at certain times but as long as we retain respect we can always overcome that and move on in friendship.
