A List of Particles
A List of Particles
a
One night during cold rain
after the others went home
we sat by dimly lit shrine
listing particles
Eyelids that blink and hailstones
bright moonlit nights and scarecrows
railroad tracks near flight of geese
eleven of them
Every leaf blown from tree
individual harp note
lit and unlit lamps in dark
homebound butterflies
Language or a question mark
definable emotion
our long lost literature
these are cutting words
Live action upon a stage
a simplified translation
contemporary retell
a comparison
Rice, flies and the moon
objects beyond simple words
an experience rooted
attracts our senses
b
To hide great and little things
under veil of comedy
to sit in contemplation
a minute of song
Of every abundance
or of every dared passion
within most printed books sold
turn pages with sigh
Our voice repeated as dream
we hide our eyes from these looks
we feel we do not deserve
something beautiful
A long list of particles
favorite path through the woods
lonely place upon the hill
bow of departure
Many moods of a painter
painting dust in the sunlight
dark corners of a journey
a lamp lit at dawn
A clarinet to travel
a bottle of cold water
that never seems empty
these small humble hands
c
Truth and untruth in our thoughts
sighs and murmurs are windows
an overflowing leisure
will drop into dust
Honor abundance with pain
let time of offering pass
deep flower smell becomes faint
set poet off with music
A child who wears a suit
that hinders every step
adds a little fear to play
avoids stains of world
Only accept sacred love
from the lowest of footstools
placed where the humble can reach
all good company
Song of multicolored beads
like shut doors of a temple
a path made of broken stone
this journey is long
Memorable poetry
is collected here today
metaphor and simile
flowers in a vase

Nice. So much imagery in words that you evoke in your writings. Well Done.
