Finally After the Storm
Finally After the Storm …
Life brings many storms,
always tears mingle with fears,
love comes and goes,
only true love stays.
When blessed with that true love,
you know love never dies,
even if you’re suddenly parted.
Leaning on each other,
through the rough times,
through the laughter,
that brings happy memories.
After our struggles,
while our life’s boat was upon stormy seas,
we barely made it through the waves
but finally sailed out into the sun.
Many turbulent times,
were still ahead,
many things to ponder,
but one by one our dreams came true.
Finally all the storms ended,
the waters dried
and our life’s boat –
finally found itself closer to the sun.
blessed days began,
our happiness knew no bounds.
Then came the day we had to say goodbye,
left on the shore,
while you went away,
where I could no longer reach you,
but our love will forever shine
and together we’ll meet in paradise.
There I’ll know you’re still mine,
our love so divine,
forever to walk along the Milky Way
and dance among the billions of stars above.
Nothing to keep us apart,
with your hand in mine,
through flowery meadows we’ll run
and have many days in the sun –
that forever shines beyond the clouds scattered across the skies.

So true, Rasma, true love never dies, is divine, and is for eternity. Lovely poem and I enjoyed it. Have a great week and take care.
Thank you, Phyllis. You too have a great rest of the week,
I love your love poetry Rasma. Always touches my heart. Jamie
Thank you, Jamie, I hope you’re having a good week,
This is what I saw as I read your work here: You write of love that comes but must inevitably go. And, your emotions pause you in the now. Always there is the knowledge that you both will reunite again in the future. Sadness and storms prevail for now. You will both have your time in the Sun…sometime in the future…for eternity.. Here’s to hope for that future day!
Thank you, Steve,
