An evening cast among the stars

An evening cast among the stars …

An evening cast among the stars

Evening sunshine softly glows among these lofty
pine bows
Snow covered ancient ridgeline gently shadowing
my simple memories

The march wind graces the promise of springs warmth
ever gently unto my soul
Yet I knew all along the memories of old men
so often arrive unkindly

And there they are…… those amazing souls gone before me
I will settle for sure these memories
Over and over as they come until
my mind gives away to silence

Echoing laughter and simple silence of tears all these brotherly
things we willingly shared
I know that within a certain light you await me
unto not but glee and easy smiles

Oh but I miss you so dearly

Sometime in my life, I started to write about my life journey, or in poetry, in story perhaps to sort out the missing from the found perhaps and enter them into a place of safekeeping. The soul of the writer is perhaps best described in their own words, emotions and thoughts. If these poems or stories touch something inside you then maybe I have succeeded in sharing. I will not write about my self in profile, because self isn't so important in writing. Only the journey in words and the sharing are important. Why would we say "Now about me!"... I'd rather write about life, nature, serenity ...
