“She’s Beautiful!” The Words of a Love Song

“She’s Beautiful!” The Words of a Love Song
She is my special woman
So talented and smart.
By some, she is misunderstood
But she has a caring heart.
She is generous and loving,
Loyal as the day is long.
This lady should be honoured
In the words of a love song.
I would hire the world’s best singer
To do credit to the song,
So it could be enjoyed by all,
And who’d sing it loud and strong.
Who would sing it in the morning,
And under the full moon,
Perform it all around the Earth,
Make it a worldwide favourite tune.
God’s creatures all adore her,
And their sense is rarely wrong,
She loves them all back in return,
So let’s all sing her song.
She’s always helping others,
Is selfless, fair, and kind.
All the praise that I can give her
Shows she’s always on my mind.
I’m honoured that she loves me,
And I know her like myself.
She makes the world a better place.
“She’s beautiful!” I yell.
And that’s another song I know,
That she makes me want to sing.
Everybody needs to know her,
And the wonder that she brings.

Beautiful love song about a beautiful love. Well done, John.
Thank you, Phyllis. Hoping you had a lovely Christmas.
Great poem. I’ve read lots of your pieces lately, on HP too, but apologies for not always having time to comment. Things have quietened down now, post Christmas, so I’m hoping for more writing time too!
I hope the new year is settling in well for you. We’re finally over bugs etc so I’m looking forward to Spring, my favourite time of year.
Ann
Thank you Anne. I appreciate you continuing to read my work. I am glad you are well now, and look forward to reading your work this year.
Great Poem for the One that you know is “Beautiful”. Befitting Tribute as well. Waiting for the Musical Riff to accompany this great work?!
Hey Steve, thanks for checking this one out, and the greart comment. If I could play a guitar I would include a riff.
