In Life Just Do It …

When the feelings choke you,

songs mist your eyes,

your heart starts aching –

in life, just do it.

Let your memories take you,

to places far away,

see the faces you miss in your mind,

don’t stop these daydreams,

because you know,

those feelings like river rapids flow –

in life, just do it.

Don’t stop to think,

let your heart take you down memory lane,

where all those old rock melodies play,

where all the crazy Junes,

have spun away,

like upon a carousel taking one wild ride,

with a skip and a hop, it is yesterday once more –

in life, just do it.

Don’t hesitate

or be unsure,

spread your arms open wide,

look up toward the skies,

twirl and dance,

feel your love take your hand,

let those feelings of love fill your heart and soul,

for you know true love never dies –

in life, just do it.

Remembering will heal your soul,

feelings of love will be a reason to rejoice,

you’re not walking alone,

so open your heart,

keep in mind that life goes on,

memories of love will continue to flow,

someone at the end of it is waiting for you,

catch those butterflies,

run through the flowery meadows,

rejoice in every day you have,

spread out your arms while dancing in the rain,

as a rainbow comes stretching across the sky –

in life, just do it.
