Solitary and healing song
Solitary and healing song …
Solitary as it seems there remain songs that caressed
my very soul back to heal and exist again
within my own breast
These trials in any life to ruin a decent man’s heart
yet they adorn with insanity
let then your emotions rest
But a song…….one song touching caressing
and yes, even bending softly
could forever alter
The melody calms new or old reaching deep within
soothing but never erasing
let these moments forgiveness not faulter
Lay your ear softly against this living shoulder
a melody lay soothing cheek against cheek
like warm soft rains of summer eve
Let your healing begin until the last ring of well
tuned strings turn to blessed silence
until the soul wants desperately to believe
If a life isn’t for happiness then why not now
why not throw away the reigns let lose the ties
I adorn you this song
Let it reach deep within your body delivered
by loving hands to heal
and let it repeat itself all the day long

So beautifully written. Loved the ending lines:
“Lay your ear softly against this living shoulder
a melody lay soothing cheek against cheek
like warm soft rains of summer eve”
“Let it reach deep within your body delivered
by loving hands to heal
and let it repeat itself all the day long”
Best wishes and Blessings!
