Born During World Changing Events
1.)
Who are the death of JFK babies
who saw the look upon their parents face,
some say that Tuesday’s Child is full of grace,
then when grown added to chain of daisies.
Those babies born during our toughest days
under the shadow from a plight of war,
some soldiers were never heard from no more,
their memories receive our deepest praise.
Though mother’s battered by history of men
can hold their babies tightly to their chest,
some babies receive our love and our peace.
History ignored by mother’s again,
just try to stay quiet during unrest,
inside of tents their free from owners lease.

Where are the lucky few when we touched moon
or started sending satellites to space
our babies looking towards stars for place
when parents are removed from Earth too soon.
Youth born during the Great Depression rise
into adulthood with understanding
how hard our lives can be without planning
our meals and moments light through our poorest sighs.
While unaware of politics of man
these babies make their place in history
with gurgles and a coo witness events.
As statues rise and statues fall with plan
of change, the baby holds its majesty
when mother holds her child the world makes sense.
3.)
I hear of pregnancies during disease
these babies bring the parents so much hope
a newborn life alters their worldly scope
when widespread plague brings our world to its knees.
A generation ready for the bold
these spirits purity will change our race
to make them laugh when we make silly face.
A life ahead with parents hand to hold
when tickling these babies pudgy toes
absorbing laughter from their tiny laughs
the spin of Earth will stop just for a time.
A tide of life and death violently throws
an overgrown area onto path
our babies smile can ease a sudden climb.
