The Ultimate Romantic Poem
Ultimate Romantic Poem …

Baby, I love you so many words just can’t explain
When we make love it is like a stormy rain
Our passion burns deep as we go skin to skin
Our love scorches hell like a fiery twin
Kiss me now and give me wings
Ebony and Ivory, the piano sings
Let us take a trip to Paris just to kiss
Here, I serve you my heart on a dish
Blow out this candle, let us make a wish
As our tongues in union, our lips unable to distinguish
My love, you are like fine wine that grows much wonderful with age
But forever young in my heart, you will stay.
Take my hand, the road is romance
You took my heart from the first glance
There is no better time than now for love
You are my beautiful white dove
Baby, I love you so many words just can’t explain
When we make love it is like a stormy rain
Our passion burns deep as we go skin to skin
Our love scorches hell like a fiery twin
Kiss me now and give me wings
Ebony and Ivory, the piano sings

I agree, Clive, this is a very romantic poem. Well done on the rhythm and rhyme.
It is good to see you back again. We missed you.
thanks
Nice work Clive…
Thanks.
Very romantic and lovely verse
Thank you
Thank you for this love poem. Very romantic and some excellent lines (could be used in my own romantic situations if you do not mind). I did have a question on the rhyme scheme of the middle stanza. Not that it disrupts the poem, I enjoyed every line, but I find it an interesting choice and was curious your reason? Jamie
Nice work Clive, very romantic. Welcome back.
