What of Balance?
What of balance?
An even distribution of light and darkness
Opposing forces with no obvious ruler
White and black
Up and down
A broader step of sight and sound
Equal forces
Neither stronger nor weaker
Debt equals assets
Yin balances Yang
What of disruption?
A single drop of water
Tips the scales one way or another
Ivory and grey
Shifting left or right
A vocal scream may diminish sight
Inequality
A slight advantage
Money owed
An imperfect picture
What of conditions?
Acceptance of an uneven playing field
The ruler knows of the advantage
A messy palate
Flanking and charging
Too much noise left to measure
Certain victory
Or abject defeat
Bankruptcies
Winner takes all
So what of balance?
Meaningful for some things but not others
Forces demonstrating their forcefulness
Growing older
Lost in translation
Sight and sound equally weakening
Darkness strengthening
A matter of fact
Death the only certainty
Funding irrelevant
Everyone loses

A question we need to be asking ourselves. Where is the balance today everything seems so skewed. Jamie
Everything in life seems to be a balancing act, teetering first one way and then the other. Nice poetry Ralph.
