Time Flies
Time flies,
so ever quickly,
days melt into weeks
and weeks into months.
Time and time again,
we think,
perhaps tomorrow
and soon tomorrow –
becomes a hundred yesterdays.
The calendar pages,
seem to be spinning upon a reel,
for as soon as one month begins,
just as quickly it ends.
Keep those treasured dates,
that bring many memories,
jotted in a journal,
which you can read once again
and forever locked in the treasure chest –
you hold in your heart.
Time flies,
like birds on the wing,
circling across the skies,
here today,
gone again tomorrow.
We come and go through life,
like through revolving doors,
perchance meeting along the way,
then we part and might never have a chance to meet again.
Always believe,
in the truth,
that tomorrow is promised to no one
and live life for the moment.
Treasure each day,
each smile and each loving word,
remember to stop and look about,
at all the beauty everywhere.
Take a moment each day,
to appreciate what you have,
don’t forget to share,
words like I love you,
so that when it comes,
to moments of parting,
you won’t regret a single thing
and all of the tomorrows you have –
will work out just fine.
Someday when someone says you’re mine,
you can share sweet love,
finding a soul mate,
who can walk through life with you,
just never forget to treasure these moments
and never forget to whisper words of love –
because time flies…

So true, Rasma, “live in the moment”, I love that phrase and use it often when working with clients or friends having issues. Love this inspirational verse. Well done.
Thank you, Phyllis. Hope you have a great weekend
It is hard to live in tomorrow as hard as living in yesterday. Thank you Rasma for your poem. Jamie
You’re welcome, Jamie and you are right.
Great poem
You never know when it was childhood and suddenly you are Grand parents.
