I FIND MYSELF A NEW AGE FAILURE

1. Trying Out Something New From The “New Age”

I have stretched and I stretch to stay young

with different tones of different “Om’s” sung

this does sooth my bad back

a good pull to my rack

yet stays at bottom of my wrung.

I have collected many crystals

cylindrical energy pistols

to be held in my hand

or set to charge in the sand

yet never are energy missiles.

Though they say meditations the key

in such quiet the mind will be free

I have to go shopping

the kitchen needs mopping

there is nothing my minds eye can’t see.

I often will light up the candles

and tragically always wear sandals

I look up to the stars

and their placement to Mars

always trying to predict scandals.

I will stick with my old fashion prayers

to an entity I feel truly cares

I have one true belief

yet look under each leaf,

learn tolerance from other players.

Such a whimsical look at the metaphysical healing world that is rapidly emerging all around us – you seem to have a strong attachment to what works the best for you but are still tolerant of what works for others – nice to see a win-win approach !
