Balance in Imperfections

Balance in Imperfections …

balance in imperfections

Unchain the shackles
Pound the drums, ignite my heart
Unbind the anguish

Release your ardor
And let me in. Let me in
The rain is cold here

I’ve found the answer.
My love is your salvation,
And your love is mine

I gesture so oft
With impassioned overtures,
A lost romantic,

That’s what they call me.
I see the imperfections,
And we all have them,

And yes, I want yours.
They fit so well with my own
My feuding frailties

The positive draw
To my negative output
The spark for my flame.

The balance required
In your soul where I’ve found peace
And lulls for anger

In ardent blankets
With a wealth so intimate
And a smile called home

Where I want to be,
In the firm hold of passion,
The place I’ve found you.

What a great way to remind the world that beauty can be found everywhere; all one has to do is open your eyes and look – the answer is obviously found in the firm holds of passion…

Wonderful write Paul. As you so poetically put it – beauty and all it entails can be found just about anywhere.
