Life’s Tapestry …
life’s a merry-go-round.
Every day like a revolving door,
just keeps on spinning round and round.
People come and people go,
loving friends that you know.
Our lives like wooden spinning tops keep on turning –
home fires burning.
Always searching for a way,
to have a golden day.
Life makes a woven tapestry,
sewn with silver threads.
So picture perfect,
in colors of many hues.
Interwoven with our dreams and memories,
with special times that sparkle and shine.
Reflecting all the seasons,
that have come and gone.
All the reasons –
that for us life goes on.
mingling with fears.
Finding true love,
that gives our heart wings.
Blissful days feeling like floating on the clouds above,
whispering sweet words of love.
Can it be,
that we are here today and perhaps gone tomorrow.
Keeping the child inside of us alive,
still blowing bubbles to the sky.
Dancing with mad joy in the rains,
searching for the pot of gold at rainbow’s end.
Keeping our dreams alive,
finding our heart’s desire.
As life progresses,
we’ll always gladly remember,
whenever we see our tapestry.
Like looking into a magic mirror,
wishing to reflect.
Old days, new days,
always creating new ones
and adding to life’s tapestry when each day is done –
hoping that tomorrow out will once again come the sun.

Yes, life certainly is a woven tapestry. Lovely verse, Rasma, and so nicely penned.
