Every day
Another wave
Watch them use
The cycling news
A Friday story
Harsh and gory
Perfectly timed
By design
It’s imperative
For the narrative
One they’re courting
By selective reporting
The norm of slander
Lack of candor
Angry actions
With no retractions
Scream and shout
Lashing out
Making threats
With no regrets
A killing mission
With no conditions
Shout and scream
Plot and scheme
Invent details
Go off the rails
Invent new labels
To turn the tables
New found names
To hurt and shame
A hand-picked team
To kill the dream
The job of each
To end free speech
Showing bias
Cheering riots
Slinging mud
Drawing blood
Count on more
A worse encore
Crystal clear
Driving fear
Hate increasing
Never ceasing
Broken lives
But who survives
Competition
To rule the system
Nothing funny
Follow the money
See who’s making
See who’s taking
Watch the leakers
Expose the secrets
Playing chess
Growing stress
All or nothing
No more trusting
In the booth
They learned the truth
Couldn’t handle
Manufactured a scandal
Created confusion
Claim collusion
Telling lies
Obstruct and deny
It’s so disgusting
They stop at nothing
Committing crimes
All the time
But they were beat
Despite the cheat
Their secular sin
They didn’t win

You’ve been watching too much fake news Ralph, lol the main stream media is the laughing stock and rightly so. Slanted news, one sided, damming, hatred, lying, slanderous, vindictive, mean, betrayers and so much more. Indeed words are like knives, they can bring a government to it’s knees, inciting riots in the streets, twisting and churning lies in their favor. Aiming to create confusion and hope for collusion. Red meat is their aim, sadly the media is full of rippled and fake faces. Bias is their calling card. Sad, very sad. Well penned Ralph, ,may the knives stay in their sheaths and the Emperor continues to rule or will it be Et tu Media.
You are the expert this type of poetry using short sharp lines to get your point across Ralph. Good job.
