Gauges and valves, tubing and meters
Copper and bronze, and loads of new features
Counter-weighted clockwork and similar mechanisms
Enlightening thoughts far beyond skepticism
Things are invented, repurposed, and remade
Some call it progress while others say retrograde
It’s a collision of things; no it’s more like a fusion
Where every day is another industrial revolution
It’s a movement; some might even call it a dream
When the world kept alive, the great power of steam
An alternate reality, one where form equals function
Items repurposed but with exquisite construction
Growing in breadth and depth of the build
Not really a union, but much more like a guild
The gathered crowd of usual suspects
A complete revolution of their personal effects
Enter the airship captains and armored troopers
Leather corseted girls complete with their bloomers
Hero-scientists joining with pith-helmeted explorers
Adventuring aristocrats are giving them orders
Mechanics and tinkerers; hell-bent on creation
Distracted by the dandy’s and their sultry gyrations
Monster hunters emerge with all kinds of weaponry
Silver and iron, with their gear in dark ebony
Choices galore yet only one thing required
