Loving for Eternity …
Cemetery dark and gloomy,
sounds here, there and everywhere,
wind whispering through the trees,
shimmering in the silvery light of the moon,
shadows beckoning come to me
and let me be free.
But the Lords and Ladies,
that are now lying,
cold as stone,
in their tombs,
beneath the ground,
were once vibrant,
with life and love
and now their souls –
continue to love in heaven above.
Loving for eternity,
loving for all time,
seasons come and seasons go –
but lovers stay with one another,
On a windy night,
when dark clouds,
play with moonbeams,
look up toward the twinkling stars,
you can see them dancing –
there still…..
For love never dies
and lovers never lose sight of one another.
To another dimension, they fly
and on dark, dark nights,
if you wander through gravestones,
you can hear what they whisper,
their passionate words to each other,
as they play hide and seek,
in the moonlight.
For never is there a lonely spirit,
another always flies beside,
imagine them holding hands,
flying through the night,
for their kisses never lose passion
and love’s embers –
glow for all eternity.
