Innate Truths and Possibilities

Innate Truths and Possibilities
Innate Truths and Possibilities

To see the inherent beauty of a petal,
its perfect shape, its colored blush and subtle heart,
is to see through divine eyes,
aligned to higher being, seeing what others do not,
and in that state of capture,
of connection and beguilement,
we are transported beyond the human eyes
we bare, and the mundane expectations
of physical encumbrance.

In this state love rises from within our soul,
a knowing that transcends the physical
but allows us to appreciate its perception,
as we mediate between spiritual realizations,
and the physical universe
within which our consciousness abides,
as this physical vessel provides carriage
on this journey of learning
and experience.

In this observation we are connected to creativity,
to the divine spark of life, the beginning of our being,
and as such our consciousness changes,
shifts to a far more open aesthetic,
driven by the depth of our soul’s learning,
its silent comprehension of life
gleaned from many lives and encounters
that deliver us to higher levels
of understanding.

Looking into the eyes of the natural world
is sacrosanct, as it assimilates us
within the natural flow of life,
the unrestricted and relentless pulsing of life’s purpose,
and as we realize this state of sharing,
truths flood our soul, often without words,
but wholly understood,
as our higher self is engaged,
our potential momentarily fulfilled.

These communions are essential parts
of our spiritual growth,
our knowing that we are far more than a thinking being,
far more than a soul of choices,
but rather a single facet of many facets concurrent,
simply experiencing here and now
our growing capacity,
and as we soon learn, that capacity is quickened
by how open we are to the world around us.

The depth of us is infinite, our potential the same,
if only we would trust ourselves and open to life’s vision,
its detailed complexity, a simplicity of understanding,
when we put aside our doubts
and seek truth with an open heart,
and then and only then may we see beyond this mortal shell,
beyond the limits we now accept,
to fathom the glorious realms around us
and to sate their realities.
