For Over Sixty Years, What I Have to Offer

For Over Sixty years, What I Have to Offer
For Over Sixty years, What I Have to Offer

There are many ways to live our lives. We may be pragmatic and ordered, we may live in the moment and care less about structure, and of course we may live in endless variations of moral conscience or be deliberately immoral and narcissistic. Each path, each variation of choice has consequence and in the ensuing circumstances we create the very path of our travail.

I have studied, experienced and applied learned principles of cause and effect for over sixty years on my spiritual path. Because there is so much misery in the world and because all of it is based on the lack of understanding of this subject, I have chosen writing as vehicle of my soul’s sharing. I never want to sound preachy, because that is not my intention, but if you are a reader of my work you will see that continuity within it.

Life is about choice, and having free will we can choose to do anything at all with our years on earth. Dependent on which path we follow, are the ramifications of our choices, gathering like metal shavings to a magnet: choice to circumstance. In all my years I cannot but conclude that a spiritual path is a far better experience in life than any other based on ego and the self. Selfish actions have negative consequence, just as negative thoughts attract negative circumstance. Thus positive thoughts and actions create positive consequence and circumstances much more affable.

It’s simple really, but people still don’t accept this basic truth. When things go awry in life, if we look back its usually not hard figuring out how that came to be. Understanding cause and effect is paramount, because it is a fundamental law of the universe on every level of existence. And this is not just a theory, but a provable truth you yourself can undertake just by witnessing the flow of it.

The spiritual path is one based on knowledge, not any religion. It is purely living in a positive mindset, being kind and compassionate with all life and accepting love as a paradigm. I believe love is a product of the divine spark, an expression of the very creation of life innate within us. If we nurture that we experience epiphanies and resolutions to much of our human woes. Love as an experience opens doors to so much more and connects us to life more profoundly.

So spirituality is not a religion, not a dogmatic belief, but an acceptance of the movement of life in circumstance and learning. I believe learning is our purpose here, and choosing a positive life simply affords the opportunity to be open and conscious of how we think and propagate our day to day experience.

Yes, choice is ours on every level of life, but living in truth and love makes life so much easier. We will of course still experience what we must, for our learning, but how we accept that makes a huge difference to the intensity of the lesson and our growth. Pain is just part of the human experience, but it is far lessened when we understand why.

To my readers I ask this, please accept my outpourings in the manner for which they are intended, never trying to preach, but always trying to share knowledge. After my years of researching religious, and philosophical practices, I have attain a bank of knowledge that will help people ready to be helped. ‘What’s for you can’t pass by you’. So I hope you get something from my thoughts and poetry, to help better understand this miraculous journey of life.

Tony, you share some wonderful insights here. Being positive, kind and compassionate, and doing everything in love goes a big way to leading a successful and happy life. We can’t dwell on what’s gone before and change past mistakes but we can learn from them. Whatever our religion or not we can still choose to follow a spiritual path of any particular dogma. Thank you for this.

Fantastic piece Tony and it hits so close to home. Too many people seem to suffer from a self imposed belief that they can’t be happy – reading this might just change their mind. Bravo!

Again here I am late to the party, but I think we all learned a little bit more each time we read one of your works. I know for a fact that I do. And whatever path you choose, keep on it, it seems to be working for you my friend. Sage advice, and thank you for sharing it.

Glad you appreciate the work Paul, its a solitary life being a writer, as we are are measured by what we say rather than what we do in life. But that is my path. Take care my friend.

I enjoy reading your work Tony, you are as Paul cited a sage. Your experiences in life have brought you the wisdom you have acquired. Living life in harmony with the Universe is so important. Loving all living things, being empathetic where needed, compassionate, caring and in sync with mother nature are key elements to a happy, fruitful life. I too am a spiritual being, not of any particular religious order or dogma. I am a child of the Universe and will go back there from whence I came. Your pearls of wisdom are essential, sharing them here with us at TCE is truly welcoming. Your gifts are gifts to us and I am thankful to receive them.
