Blood Moon Passing

I feel an electricity in the air,
a static edge of sharp unrest,
as if a shift in consciousness,
a malaise of cognizance,
but I cannot allot a reason,
not one thing I cannot bear,
just a dis-coincidence, a missed step
in a cosmic stride somewhere.
As the blood moon in its cycle
affords its lunar eclipse,
it is believed the release of demons,
wander earth unopposed and we at risk,
yet other say it is a peaceful lull,
some the end of the world,
but in the end just a red shadowed moon,
and an air of change, an esoteric spell.
The heavens play a part in life,
their alignments and pull give rise to change,
feelings felt as they play their games,
and for sensitive s a key to knowledge,
the movements of planets and gravity
attest our human ride,
and the moon itself the ebb and flow
of our emotions and the tides.
The cosmos is a living thing,
and each star and planet, each supernova,
asteroid, moon and cloud has its place,
and therefore influence upon us all,
as we circle around an infinite realm of space,
where each event has place and effect,
for those of conscious mind,
to gaze with wonder in grace of time.
Perhaps the end of days will come one day,
but I fear not for some time,
and fearing events of cosmic change,
a lesser concern, where far more poignant woes
confirmed right here on earth
should take priority,
as trials await our reasoning here,
before we deal with infinite space.
As the blood moon passes,
and its influence fades, normality returns
as focus aids new challenges,
and the cosmos just keeps on spinning,
we apart revolving around our sun,
look up in awe of eternity,
and what one day may come,
when time dictates.
