Answers to Our Questions

Answers to Our Questions
Answers to Our Questions

Questions flow like relentless streams,
cascading over stone and dream,
to scatter in a thousand parts,
seeking meaning on earthy ramparts,
clutching as they pass,
answers hiding in confusion’s art,
tethered to all the questions asked.

Can’t be one without the other,
yet grasping easier said than done,
when walls of restless questions smother
a mind too overwhelmed to come
to terms with fragmented hues,
elusive views of knowledge strewn,
to be gleaned by foraging that stream.

In pairs so neat would be discreet,
so easy would be life, yet tis the flow and turbulence
that teaches us extremes,
and in that fight for breath we discover
the purpose and the struggle to uncover,
connections already sewn
for the answers then be shown.

And what was there to begin,
full circle will be there in the end,
answers to our questions, when we’re ready to hear them,
appear so simply in plain sight,
when in turbulence we fight to find them,
and our effort is rewarded,
the truth once hidden reported and revealed.

Answers are always close,
yet holding them requires the art of learning,
discerning what at first we’re not ready to know,
but after our effort they just show up,
as if they never moved at all,
tis we who travail the path to know,
what revelations they offer.

Answer are not elusive, or hidden,
its just we cannot see them,
and until we can, there’s no reason for an answer
to a question not willing to set us free,
so being open has more clout,
than thrashing about in a stream,
clutching at answers we cannot see.

Questions we all have many, answers are often elusive. We will hope for the best, sort out the worst and keep asking more questions. For what would life be without them, we have questioned our existence form the beginning of time and certain we have the answers, but not. All answers will be revealed when we go through the curtain of doubt, the other side will reveal all to us. But until then, we must and always will question this life. Peace and calm I find is the best method, leave your mind open to receive answers, listen intently, they are whispered to us. If we close our minds, we miss that opportunity. Enlightenment is a blessing we all have, but only some of us can hear it’s soft and clear response. Nicely penned Tony, I know you are a man of questions and one with many revealed answers. Cheers
