What Good Those Pillars of Knowledge

What Good Those Pillars of Knowledge
What Good Those Pillars of Knowledge

The pillars of knowledge crowd the streets,
and few can understand to keep abreast
of change, the rearranging of our world,
technologies the lie, the cries of suffering
that need not be, held to account
those who proffer answers
that keep us paying,
and they profiting from the weak,
instead of the miracles, held back,
cures retracted from reality,
all for the greed of the few.

Drugs the cost of our compliance,
to keep us broke, to keep us fragile,
a ruse of such gargantuan scale,
a world hemorrhages when cure is found,
but not acknowledged, because of investment
in old outmoded paths,
upheld out of avarice and control,
humanity but a pawn to economics
and those few who, in heartless measure
play God, as if they
had any compassion at all.

Cancer, cured,
alternative free energy, invented,
and the list goes on, as those who achieved
have been silenced,
their technologies rested
in the hands of ultimate control,
whose investments cannot abide change,
cannot afford upgrading without loss,
thus stagnancy, death and suffering,
without qualm, for the sake of profits,
the orchestration of their will.

We are a hundred years behind,
technologies that could transform
life on earth, held to ransom
while we pay to survive,
struggle to live in our so called free society,
governed by the unseen,
leadership the puppets,
just the hand of a machine,
that dictates how and what we dream,
distracted by the farce of entertainment,
to keep us quiet, deluded and unseen.
