The Seduction of Music

The Seduction of Music
The Seduction of Music

The sway of rhythms swell in afferent night,
bodies attuned to music’s seductive plight,
as eyes so lost in gaze,
hips in harmonious array, do swing,
inhibitions now flighted, leave skyward
as melodies bring a sentient bliss,
and the more those bodies meld,
so effortlessly they fall into climactic kiss.

Arms entwined, hearts blind
in faith of love’s sweet rhyme,
as the music seals soul and mind,
heartbeats attuned to rhythmic hues
as they glide across the floor,
blurred in life’s time, removed,
and the sway so fluid,
as a soothing breeze inspired.

That music so freeing, its subtlety easing
into a calm and gentle approach,
where a mind so lost in melodies
and seduced by attenuated notes,
is so profoundly felt in flesh and soul,
as the song just never ends,
extends to a mantra of love’s muse,
as the dancers swoon.

And when each song eventually ends,
embraced they stay, awaiting the next tune,
ever present in the room,
as if life on pause, the rhythm
the start of each and every heart,
the start of another flight into blissful dance,
romance the center of a world apart,
as words in whisper, kisses impart.

As the tempo recedes,
and dancing precedes the warmth of embrace,
love blossoms in darkened eyes,
open like pools to the soul,
as the music flows like a trickling stream,
gentle and attuned
in the deepest regions of the heart,
where love starts.

And as the night turns,
and slumber beckons lovers,
that music lingers in mind, like halcyon days,
moments of love’s embrace,
and till dawn love flies higher,
wrapped in blissful flight,
the night a haven for the senses,
the dance a formidable seduction.
