That Other Sight

I am by my sight
a light of mind attached to flesh,
I confess, that light not of the flesh,
rather what imprisoned within it writhes,
that light of vibrant colored spinning wheels
of radiant in-pouring and out-pouring,
projections of the soul I am.
And in my many states of thought,
those wheels will turn and glow
like first daylight,
in colors that explain my many moods,
the compassion of my heart,
the understanding I impart to others,
all in many hues, the colors of my being.
In this realm where sight does claim to see,
there are many discoveries,
while others walk and their colors too
impart their being, their varied states
the thinking in their dreams upon a canvas true,
in subtle hues and stark tributes to their views,
clues to who they really are.
Here where energy is the mastery of vision,
its trailing streams on every surface,
every object, every scene so radiant,
so filled with life at its core,
I touch each thing and feel its stirring,
its direction so rightly run,
as my mind focuses of what is more.
Impediments, like dark patches
affect the whole as colors bend and meld
to accommodate the flow, and I realize
this show the truth of what we are,
our thoughts and thinking upon a sleeve
for all to see, like clothing we adhere,
the truth of us in vibrant clarity.
And talk we may with others,
some ignore but some do not
as we greet them in open hearted intent,
talk of things that circumvent our thoughts,
here in a world of light,
where life displays its every plight in color,
and strangely it all is clear.

I gaze at the moon tonight, so clear and beautiful up there, and understand all you say, Tony. There is so much more beyond the physical sight and knowing. Wonderful piece, so enjoyed. Many blessings to you. Take care, dear friend.
Glad you enjoyed it Phyllis, every now and then I throw in a bit of esoteric info, as many people connect with it. The picture is inaccurate of course, but its hard to find something appropriate for a work like this. Cheers!
