Immersed in Beauty
Beauty beheld is often so fragile,
its countenance enveloped within every sense,
yet those emotions held so deeply strong,
it can change the world: move the immovable,
still the intractable and cure the incurable,
all for the want of love
and through the eyes of beauty.
There is no more emotive state
than being immersed in beauty,
perceiving love within something else,
and no matter what senses it evokes,
through vision, sound or acts
of compassion and kindness,
that uplifted state is a divinity in itself.
To perceive beauty is a blessing of tall measure,
a soul letting go of limitations
to understand purity in experience,
to immerse oneself in emotions that spark
deep within our possibilities,
and to give love a path of expression
in recognition of beauty’s place.
Exquisite a face of beauty,
each line and curve a perfection of being,
and eyes the depth of fathoms pool,
filled with compassion and understanding;
these things bring tears of joy,
emotions connected to life’s divine aspect,
and in sharing we give praise to what life affords.
Music engenders this beauty,
the soul of the composer upon every note,
indeed those melodies find hearts,
stir souls to breathe ever so slowly,
imbibing every subtle sound,
beauty infused so completely
in a state nearing perfection.
Nature give credence
to beauty’s kind face, for us to embrace
in its glory of miraculous life,
and colors so subtle so vibrant,
we cannot possibly create anything more real,
more inspiring and transforming
than to witness nature’s deft hand, in grace.
