Within the Purity of Heart

Life is but a corridor of successive doorways,
each to a lifetime of purposeful experience,
each leading to a planned ascension of the soul
that moves in one direction only,
toward perfection.
So inept are we
that so many lives are necessary in our learning,
so many experiences, both harsh and joyful,
we must accept in the undulations and challenges afforded,
to resolve our raw understanding and base ignorance.
In time’s unyielding oversight,
we move through human experience,
from chaos and war to technological worlds and pleasures,
yet, the experiences required need no fixed place,
rather a circumstance rendering needed learning.
No matter from where and when we experience life,
it is all connected, all fashioned
with our souls requirements in mind, by process,
and all the time bound by our own thoughts and actions
within the law of cause and effect.
Connect we may to other realms of experience,
through memory, through momentary connection,
to realize all is profoundly connected, those facets of the soul
mutually experiencing in timeless moments,
the circumstances needed.
We may feel echoes of circumstances on an emotional level,
somehow thoughts joining in sympathy
over times enigmatic passages,
experiences alike and attuned in being,
questioning the present reality.
This is the fate of attuned souls,
awareness their calling,
and these echoes often messages of restraint or warnings
that present themselves in a distant clarity
so often misunderstood.
Life is our destiny, our pathways to ascension,
and each lifetime adding to the requirements in development,
a spiritual and intellectual cognizance
that is the whisper we hear in deciding each step we take,
each love we accept in the purity of heart.
