To Orchestrate a Safe and Common Good
Appraised as worthy, a soul in earnest prevails,
not just from the deeds devout in growth,
to learn as a soul must, but the intention
that surpasses all expectation,
and no matter the failures and consequences incurred,
the soul alone in approach does stir outcomes
proffered in a sound abiding light,
where sought conclusions matter.
And in souls of articulate expression,
a discretion not always realized,
as they in compromise seek only good for all,
a consideration of others first,
before a deed is undertaken or stalled,
their intentions synthesized to assimilate,
to, in circumstances settle without transgression,
with a kind heart’s toll.
Gentle hearts are few,
yet they know life truly,
and how to draw a circumstance,
less of all the tribulations due,
instead weave threads of kindness
into everything they do, for it fortuitous,
no soul facing more than what would ensue,
if no action were taken at all.
Most people stumble through life,
no attention, no awareness
of what each thought and deed could do,
just a justification of self and want,
consequence far from cognizance,
far from any moral view,
and the refuse of sad and bitter consequence is strewn
across the paths of human life.
Yet worthy souls of observant plight,
understand the night as well as day,
and cast no stones across the sea,
instead they are the waters still,
the whispers of a somber summer’s breeze,
instilled by truth’s inspiring resound,
learning of the processes, the movements
that create those circumstances we so accept in profundity.
Praise the insight, hale the night,
for day would fade to shadows ilk,
without those who orchestrate
a safe and common good.
