The Gust Of A Breath (The Breath Of A Gust)

The Gust of a Breath …

Love lost in one sweeping gust of breath

In sweet flowers of love beyond

in emotional impressed distress

where heart’s arms have returned to lay

having played those notes in yawning days

when impassioned passions flowed

inside love’s autumnal spring caress

The gust of a breath

For where there came one arm in hand

beyond where impassioned passion splayed

fingers born so close together

as born inside each other’s wane

so sweetly created nodding urge

where winter’s icy fingers now formed

The breath of a gust

Inside two hearts lonely passions lurked

increasing(ly)  gazing at moonlit stars

wonderingly wandering where lovers play

birthing thoughts of ever sweetening possess

when hands and arms come sweetly together

intention within their hearts so strained

The gust of a breath

As moonlit nights stretched to darkened days

where burgeoning thoughts of caressing heights

became as once was those with another

predisposing days inside smothering nights

in sweet flowers of love beyond

resurgent only in strangled thoughts

The breath of a gust

Where massive manic mania spread

in heart’s beating waves erasing mist upon mist

kissing bodies rolled and jumbled

in impassioned passions rolling bliss

there arrived sweet thoughts jostled clean

as inherent passions flew so secretly away

The gust of a breath

Sweet flowers of love beyond

blooming and blossoming in fertile soil

in reigning rains brought within to boil

passed those hands and arms so warm

storming where passions distress

‘in patterned recess of ultimate excess

The breath of a gust

Where ocean’s waves so flowed in excess

repossessing those two hearts so very lost

costing only sweet beginning of lover’s haven

redesigning of emotions so sorely sought

as errant blue waves came in deeply to play

now so deeply lost on that lover’s day

The gust of a breath

Inside impassioned passions sweetly caressed

resisting only those excess remembrances

of loving just so divinely divine

in passing past’s so very lonely times

gazing within starry starry nights so full

pulling both hearts backwards to those full lonely days

The breath of a gust

Where sweet flowers have gone so blue

hued in scarlet of love’s exploding passions

fashioned by fingering arms so warming

storming with those days and nights absorbed

disrobed within escalating unknowing places

facing only the deepest loneliness ever attained

I have been writing since 1967, basically as an emotional release, but in the last few years I have become interested in creation of forms as well as being socially accepted by my peers. So, here I am. Relate to me, please!

Donald this is a beautiful poem and so well constructed. My favourite of those I have read of yours so far. Thanks for sharing.
