An Author’s Message
What I believe, through my pen flows,
and what I’ve experienced in life:
the knowing of my heart, manifest,
is evident, in plain sight,
for I can claim no definite truths, who can,
yet in longevity and awareness,
one does glean a certain wisdom,
realities beyond the spheres of mundane life,
and as esoteric as that may be, many epiphanies
arrive in that stream of thinking.
I seek not to illuminate the self through truths,
simply to share them, as I would hope anyone would,
who values knowledge and believes
in the spiritual ascension of the soul,
a profound meaning to life, I embrace,
as so much of my verse and epistle poetry
is inspirational in that vein, hoping that others
will relate to either uphold their own beliefs
or perhaps question and even expand upon what
they now consider a livable paradigm.
Much of this aspect of my poetry is self-experienced,
but many more simply expressions
of the human condition, for as much as we think
we are completely individual, as we are,
we have far more in common that we’d like to admit,
and in this way I share knowing that
an open mind will understand my renderings,
and hopefully gain some more insight
into who we are in this state of being,
this journey of earthly existence.
The gift of communication is a blessing,
one with which I am grateful,
and the ability and platform in sharing my thoughts,
more gratifying that any other expression, for me,
and so, insightful and inspirational works
will always be a part of my offerings,
as I wish to give back as I have so freely been given insight,
and in sharing, the experience of humility
that grounds the ego and perpetuates
a flow of open-mindedness that in learning, is so necessary.

I tell you this my friend, your poetry give my brain the necessary means to keep healthy and expand. I always focus on learning something new each day. It usually comes out in my writing at some point. Excellent piece as always Tony.
