American Teen – Property of the State Machine

The American Teen

Property of the State Machine

Subtle training, penetrating

Blaming, defaming, and campaigning

When they said educated

It meant indoctrinated

Programmed to follow orders

To parrot phrases like, “open borders”

Unengaged but entertained

Every day, it’s all the same

Most aren’t happy but don’t know why

Until they’re ordered to comply

Disposable flunkies

Hooked like junkies

On video games and social media

While dust gathers on the encyclopedia

They only care when they’re told to care

Atrocities happening everywhere

Children murdered every day

No outrage; they had nothing to say

Bullets fly in Chicago and DC

Every day like Wounded Knee

Gangsters keep killing

Morgues keep filling

But shift the narrative to bathroom choice

And suddenly they find a voice

Secret money starts to flow

Line them up and make a show

Left hand waving for attention

Burying facts they don’t want mentioned

Strings being pulled by Socialists

Abortionists and chauvinists

Agenda-driven

The truth stays hidden

While women suffer in the Middle East

Owned by men, just like beasts

Subjected to humiliation

Acid attacks and mutilation

No one told our youth to care

Media shifts to nationalized healthcare

Rallies and demonstrations

New demands and declarations

Expendable pawns fill the rooms

Order kept by black-masked goons

Young collegians

Goose stepping legions

The Machine keeps speaking

Politicians leaking

While the young keep getting played

Convinced to hand their rights away

Statues stood for a hundred years

Walked by them daily but had no fear

The Machine said to tear them down

Erasing history from every town

So they march, or stand, or do whatever

The chaos seems to give them pleasure

Descending into anarchy

Relinquishing their humanity

Into the jaws of the grinder

Scores of laughter from their minder

Blinded sheep, your sons and daughters

Politically correct while led to slaughter

If you enjoy politically motivated poetry, I suggest these pieces:

I write about everything and sometimes nothing at all. I'm fascinated by old things, rusty things, abandoned places, or anywhere that a secret might be unearthed. I'm passionate about history and many of my pieces are anchored in one concept of time or another. I've always been a writer, dating back to my youth, but the last decade has been a time of growth for me. I'm continually pushing the limitations of vocabulary, syntax, and descriptive phrasing.

The indoctrinated youth of this country will surely lead to its downfall, it’s only a matter of time. The leftist media and propaganda mongers are slowly poisoning the youth. Entitlement is the forerunner as to why you get a job, not your skill and talent. Check off a box we have that one not because he graduated 1st in MIT but because he meets the acceptable number of ethnic people we need from that group. It is sickening. If they want a country divided, they have one. Great piece Ralph, thought provoking and accurate.
