Eternal Love Born Within …

If ever there is a perfect love …

Before I knew how kind and sweet he is,
I felt an eternal love born within,
For I saw far deeper than appearance,
To a love abiding deep inside him.

Then a love so special was to begin,
Or, was it always to be him like this?
I stood upon the rim of eternity,
Beyond the beyond, and felt serenity.

Long before we ever met or spoke,
I only saw his photo, but within
I saw a divine love there and awoke,
Old embers in my heart began to flame.

Then the voice of my soul quietly spoke,
Love so true, hold it in my heart for him,
It is a blessing, this love is so pure,
For eternity my love will endure,

For all time, ever faithful, ever truly,
Within all my being, the very core
Of who I am, safe in the heart of me,
It’s a love I have always known before.

I knew in my heart this love was not new,
It has been within my soul waiting for
The one I could love truly and wholly,
Who will accept, trust and understand me.

He is the one who knows himself,
A man who is honest, sincere and kind,
Seeks for truths of his own and of life,
One who has a beautiful soul and mind.

His spirit was suddenly before me,
The one my own spirit has always known.
The love within me finally found release,
My heart and soul has finally found peace.

I am an author on TCE and write mainly in poetry and short stories.

I have always liked to write.It is important to me that writing comes from my heart and soul. When writing poetry, if I do not feel a spiritual connection to what I am writing on, I will discard it and go on to something I can connect with on a spiritual level. I live in the moment, I write from the past or beyond the veil. When writing fiction I go with whatever inspires me at the moment - it could be funny, sorrowful, romantic or sometimes done with the use of colloquial language from mountain folk or other cultural regions.

I began writing content online in 2007, starting with BellaOnline - A Voice For Women, where I was the Native American Editor, Folklore & Mythology Editor, and the Appalachian Editor. I also wrote articles forThe Examiner, Daily Two Cents, and Yahoo. I am currently an author on HubPages.

Most of what I write takes a lot of research and I love it. Even if it is a fictional story, I will research for accuracy in whatever it takes to make my characters, their era, their location, etc. become realistic to the reader.
