Art, You Are …
From where you came
beyond sweet, sweet veil
time’s ambivalent presence
caresses you for who you are
Apart from any familiarity
grows indomitable presence
of which you are one and the same
Art, you are for eternity’s sake
Beloved patience oft patterned score
though through beneficence accorded
craving that which comes with want
needs only to be that which is craved
As loving presence believes and wants
apart from that which behooves
altered paths of freedom jaunts
relieve what relief there is to relieve
A rt, you are within deepest sanctity
that which emotive heart befriends
beyond passive passions strut
before those that would be pressed
Without whose form there would be none
without whose presence all would be shunned
art, that wholly disguised interpreter
awaits opening of sure purposed veil
