Memories of Love Awakened in the Garden
Memories,
A walk in the garden
An awakening of sorts
Things which are only found
Yet never truly lost
Memories of Love
Pleasant recollections
Triggered by the blooming springtime
Intoxicating aromas
Colors of unimaginable intensity
Oceans of growth
Where the soothing and exciting
Collide gently
Creating magic for but a moment
Or perhaps two
The garden presentation
A ballet
Powerful dramatics
Of posing blossoms
Posturing for no one
And everyone
Effortlessly stretching
Natural movements
Delicately
Drinking golden rays
And on the spaces below,
Intriguing shadows
That dance upon the sidewalk
The meadows
And green spaces beyond
While contemplations
Float away effortlessly
Lost in the complexities
Of sensual appreciation
The silence of beauty
Created along hidden pathways
Nooks and crannies
Sheltering those still emerging
Maturity and wisdom
Of the perennials
Adding positive change
While transforming
True beauty never rests
Instead adding and amending
Living potpourri
Hinting of worthiness
Worthfulness
Of awaiting
Of that which the future holds,
Recommending
Recreating
Lingering
On memories awakened
Romance worth remembering
And future planning
Found in the garden

Most wonderful and romantic poetry.
Lovely and romantic verse, Ralph. Thank you for this stroll through the garden.
Nicely penned and very romantic, the beauty of nature so inspiring and enlivening all the senses. Well done Ralph.
