Love’s Mystic Tapestry

LOVE’S  MYSTIC  TAPESTRY…

As silky seconds sublimely ooze out

through the pores of night’s mystic branches,

silvery moonbeams gliding through the lace curtains

morph as ephemeral rivulets on marble floors,

and I so drunk on the wine of your admiration

become a glint wholly enslaved to your eyes.

Together, let us face the daunting mirrors of truth

hanging forebodingly over love’s verdant shade,

and make a vow to compliment each other’s flaws

while accepting and celebrating our uniqueness,

as we decide not to peruse the elusive mirages of perfection

which keep taunting us from afar.

At times of need, I will be your selfless candle

continually giving you my love’s gentle glow,

as we walk together through life’s winding paths

paved with concealed treasures and hurdles,

where I will melt for you till my very last breath

while your hands lovingly shield me from storms.

Merrily, a fire crackles in the distant corner

its flames making entwining shadows on walls,

as your endearing words fall as virgin raindrops

in the unaddressed depths of my parched soul,

while a passion’s chariot takes us to far away places

where slices of paradise become one with this earth.

Fireflies of imaginations dance around love’s lake

as we marvel at these lanterns of new hopes,

and tomorrows and yesterdays fade from our minds

as we become ecstatic captives of these moments,

adding shimmering jewels to the ivory box of memories

to fondly hold and reminisce in our twilight years.

Yonder, a cluster of stars unblinkingly stay guard

to our love’s treasured tapestry,

while tiny bundles of clouds proudly float by

as if puffed up with love’s myriad mysteries,

as we begin to percieve everything in brighter hues

both in the kingdoms of dreams and realities.
