Autumn’s Hand

Autumn’s Hand

autumn's hand

Rolling through hills of Autumn’s land

where thoughts indeed imbibe

existing still are nuances so grand

instilling in sweet heart that freedom ride

Warming breezes brought beyond the sun

hallowed sensuality still bare begun

Mountain’s crest where snow still reigns

islands of trees flouting about

weathered upon as weathering remains

standing still in such errant shout

Wrought from dormant merriest go round

growing immediately eminent without a sound

Coerced within those grasping hands

airy breezes floating so sweetly controlled

provides some lift perusing just so grand

as empowered pains become so rolled

Where limbs and mist attain each other’s stature

growing through lengths of sedentary pasture

Others gaze upon with constrained restraint

at their pursuant reflective odyssey to bear

where cold and warmth and heat will paint

their glowing portrait to be reflective there

However for this sweet sweet moment in time

all rests, ever resistant, as one patient , ever moving, mime

I have been writing since 1967, basically as an emotional release, but in the last few years I have become interested in creation of forms as well as being socially accepted by my peers. So, here I am. Relate to me, please!

My favorite time of year, overshadowing, and yet ever waiting for all of the others to take their rightful places in the grand artistic ritual. Thank you very much, Phyllis.

Excellent imagery my friend, well done piece. Nice work. I must admit the color spread of autumn is intriguing but it is a precursor for winter. Maybe that is why i never took a liking to autumn. Either way nice work my friend
