Afferent Displays, So Deep in Eyes

Afferent Displays, So Deep in Eyes
Afferent Displays, So Deep in Eyes

Love paints the gloaming sky
with such untiring beauty,
eloquent the silent words, attesting
hearts in transition, suppositions
of endless play and souls entwined
in gracious days of promises eternal,
as flames in horizon’s wake
surrender to the soft hues
of diamond night.

And words are not enough,
when silken touch and lips are much
more afferent in display,
the heart so warmed in openness,
for all we are upon the sleeve
whispered silent dreams released
and in fruition, fed,
sustenance the soul’s ardor,
eyes so deep, well said.

Ecstasy wears no clothing,
no fears or doubts can taint its chaste sentiment,
divine in countenance, no reticence
a resignation whole,
a soul in giving all its worth
in love’s embrace,
space and time in frozen state,
as if to honor love’s exquisite
paradigm, sublime.

As night draws velvet,
studded eternal glimmering fires,
so deeply set to imbibe the arcane wonders
of existence, two souls in one single vessel
traverse infinite space,
no world attests their being to sate,
for love on a moonbeam
has transfixed their minds,
lost in their soulful eyes.

And flesh ignites the fire,
their embrace becomes a melding,
sending thoughts to silence, bare,
just being is all they care,
in a single light, outshining a cosmos,
a sight beyond visions, does release,
epiphanies eclipse the sounds of life,
the moment cleansed,
appeased.
