The Nature of Causality

The Nature of Causality
The Nature of Causality

The flow so endlessly uncertain,
the undulations so extreme,
perspective in radical rhyme-less change,
distorting all and dreams,
and life becomes an unknown movement,
on a vast and nameless strata,
where minds confused by place and time,
question what’s present and after.

They say a ride, an experience yield
that determines all we need to learn,
and the extremes are set to capture us,
for all we must discern,
as life can only proffer circumstance,
the response and rest ours to render,
and no matter how we approach our needs,
in the end we must surrender.

The path can be difficult,
change an uncomfortable price,
but in resistance we create more obstacles,
more pain and chaos for right,
and it often seems harsh in our view,
all that we must face and travail,
yet the learning that our soul requires,
far outweighs the details.

In acceptance of the paths before us,
we may see another side,
a road less strewn with fractious plights,
that will surely slow our growth and sight;
treat each affront as a minor challenge,
step by step to overcome,
and the pain of fighting each breath to free,
will release us from humdrum of our course.

The flow of life can be as we would have it,
when we accept each change and move on,
for it is in our refusal to face ourselves and life,
where circumstances go wrong;
so find honesty in your heart,
choose truth for your reality,
and let each day unfurl like a loving gift,
learning the nature of causality.
