A Life Complete in Acceptance

A Life Complete in Acceptance
A Life Complete in Acceptance

A life complete is one
where expectations are overshadowed by appreciation,
and every nuance of experience is sated with gratitude,
where love and kindness is the paradigm for each breath,
and obstruction is just another lesson for the soul
in its continual path of ascension.

In a state of completeness
one is bound by the knowledge of past,
inspired by the possibilities of future
and thankful within the circumstances of the present,
all of which is played out concurrently
within the constructs of time and space.

Nothing remains still,
even in refusal of change,
and when we accommodate life rather than struggle,
we find a flow of perpetual release,
as the tide ebbing and flowing in silence,
we become life without judgement.

Being complete is neither definitive nor calculable,
just a state of acceptance that allows life
to find its own appropriate movement
for our souls nourishment and learning,
and without the struggle or resistance we so often create
out of fear and insecurity.

In this state of completeness,
we engender compassion and empathy
for all who suffer the struggle at their own hands,
and in kindness offer solace, in words and comfort,
yet each one of us must arrive at our own understanding,
our own acceptance of being.

Being complete is a realisation
that we are in acceptance of ourselves,
our faults, our innate propensities but remnants
of a misunderstood truth, one that changes as we do,
in our expansion of mind and soul,
as we approach higher thought and purpose.

From this perspective we cease to judge,
but instead see the paths of others,
the struggle and pain of learning within resistance,
and know eventually that these souls too
will ascend to higher states,
all under the same sun, the same flow of existence.

All the world should read your life lessons my dearest friend Tony. This piece is excellent, great work.

I have trouble typing, am in a lot of pain and have been shaken to the core from the traumatic incident with that German shepherd and the pit bull, yet am so grateful my dog and I are alive and healing. I appreciate what life has given me and that my family gathered round to help Cody and me get the help we so needed. Tony I so needed to read this verse of yours at this time – it has pulled me out of the victim stage and allows me to know gratitude and appreciation to the fullest. Thank you for helping me to heal within my soul. I love you for who you are and so grateful to have you in my life. Take care.

I am touched Phyllis and so appreciate your kindness. I’m so sorry you’ve had to go through this trauma, a most unexpected and painful glitch in life. Hoping you heal quickly and use the downtime to advantage. Sometimes we need to be still and let life nurture us. Take care dear friend.
