My Journey of Discovery – Seeking The Womb of Life

I’ve walked blindly upon this pathway

An avenue without an identity

Or even a name

Only the footprints of those who have gone ahead

Marking the direction

Comfortable in my solitude

The silence remarkable and provoking

Offering precious moments of uncluttered thought

Meditative motion

Guided by an unseen hand

Contemplation

Faced with a choice that isn’t necessary

Yet sequentially essential

Such as the observant comparison

Of the simple act of walking

For without the previous step

Another cannot be accomplished

Progress comes to a hurried halt

And the fearful moments occur

When the body stumbles in place of the mind

Hindrances of the earthly world

They carry no weight nor impose any burden

This journey is only impeded by a lack of inclination

Choices that reside in the practice of free will

Some certain and others filled with mystery

This dreamlike state of forward motion

Transcendent, evincing an emotional response

Becoming lighter with every passing moment

Crossing celestial boundaries

Becoming one with the universe

Overwhelmed by the vastness

But without trepidation or anxiety

Instead I find a collective comfort in my surroundings

Traces of those who’ve walked before me

Evidenced by distant reflections of their auras

Surrounded by perfect love and perfect trust

The womb of life providing harmonious purification

A change in cerebration leads to a change in application

This rebirth, leading to a new awakening

My conscious awareness of the beauty found in everything

I write about everything and sometimes nothing at all. I'm fascinated by old things, rusty things, abandoned places, or anywhere that a secret might be unearthed. I'm passionate about history and many of my pieces are anchored in one concept of time or another. I've always been a writer, dating back to my youth, but the last decade has been a time of growth for me. I'm continually pushing the limitations of vocabulary, syntax, and descriptive phrasing.

Ah, the eternal pathways of life, filled with revelation and enlightenment. Some great word usage and phrasing Ralph. Very much enjoyed my friend.
