The Winds of Change, in Transition

Change is a daunting paradigm,
to be ready and accepting
of the forces that mold our lives
by rearranging the scope of sight,
the very light that guides us on our path.
Without acceptance,
change becomes a predatory ploy,
to gather circumstance
and to orchestrate a learning transition,
that is often painful in resistance.
One way or another change ensues,
because it is necessary,
and how we accept it the driver
of the circumstances derived,
to ensure our growth and necessary path.
We may spend a lifetime resisting change,
clinging to the known like an insecure child,
yet through that we suffer the tribulations of resistance,
that make our lives chaotic and painful,
bound by fear.
Freedom is the knell of acceptance,
of trusting the flow of life
and allowing change to transform and uplift us,
to broader perspectives and knowledge,
that ensure our spiritual and mental ascension and growth.
Embracing fear as an excuse for stagnancy,
is just prolonging the inevitable,
and making change as painful as possible, and
just because the fear seems worse than change itself,
is no reason to cling to insecurity, a delusion of comfort.
We must face change with a stoic posture,
trust enough that life guides us with purpose,
and that acceptance is far better
than a gathering of difficult circumstances,
to force what is meant to be.
Smooth transitions are the consequence of acceptance,
and gleaned knowledge a gift of movement,
so never doubt yourself,
those whispers of truth from within are to be trusted,
just as the obstacles we must overcome in learning.

Change is very much a part of life. If not for change life would be stagnate indeed. Yes, trust thy self is very good advice and this piece is a very good life lesson to remember. Well done, Tony.
Thanks Phyllis; I wish more people would post and more often. You and I are holding up the site!
Yes, if not for us it would be mighty empty here. I have contacted several authors we have not heard from in a long time. All the replies are the same “busy”, “will try to be back soon”. I am so glad you are hanging in here with me, Tony, thank you.
