Silence is My Domain
Silence is my domain,
my space, my calm refrain,
and in the embrace of solitude
I shield my core,
from all that I abhor,
and revel in the freedom
of possibility’s wake,
when mind explores the imagination,
the visions I partake,
in yielding to the life I so aspire.
What I see of life and death,
behests me to speak,
to explore ways to connect
with those of ilk,
who seek the serenity
of which I speak,
in quiet contemplation
of all that life aspires
as unique, and worthy
of understanding.
The chaos of life
can be overwhelming,
and in fear and paranoia,
delving into dark cores
derives pain and more,
but in silence, in a calm mind,
life reasons to underline our flaws,
to restore our hope and potential,
resurrect elemental balance,
and instill serenity.
Silence is my eternal plane,
my vast and endless space
of security,
as in balance I find myself
but a part of life’s glimmer,
a sentient mind beyond
the limits of physicality,
and within this space and time,
I find peace, myself in truth
and release from all the pain.

The mind does remain calm in the silence of our own personal sanctuary within and keeps us in balance, so we may be part of life in a good way. That sacred space we give ourselves is, as you say, endless and leads us to know our Self.
