Ever True Love Abides Safe in my Heart

Ever True Love

ever true love

Ever true love for him abides safe in my heart,
Where one day long ago it quietly settled,
And like a seed grew with tender care,
Till it burst forth to become full and strong,
A blessed gift to be cherished forever.

Stars shine brighter, birds sing sweeter,
Sunrise and sunset colors are more brilliant,
Even storms have their own beauty,
When thunder vibrates through me with life,
The feel and taste of water is more refreshing,
Sounds of nature more pleasing.

This is what happens when ever true love
Abides safely in the heart,
The core of my being,
Everything in life, is more than
It ever has been, and more beautiful,
Because I have this love within.
Love is a rhapsody in life that sings in my heart,
Twas in Heaven composed and whispered on winds,
To enter my heart and fill me with love.

The sweetness of tears dry on my cheeks,
During dreams of what could be,
Yet time has not been kind, has not flowed
The way my dreams have shown,
When winter warms the heart in love’s embrace,
And spring is ours to behold together,
When the brow of summer is crowned by heather,
When autumn colors all the leaves,
I dream my dreams and love my love,
In blissful slumber of quiet night,
Through all the seasons this ever true love
Abides safely within my heart,
And I love him true with all my might.

I have always liked to write. It is important to me that writing comes from my heart and soul. When writing poetry, if I do not feel a spiritual connection to what I am writing on, I will discard it and go on to something I can connect with on a spiritual level. I live in the moment, I write from the past or beyond the veil. When writing fiction I go with whatever inspires me at the moment - it could be funny, sorrowful, romantic or sometimes done with the use of colloquial language from mountain folk or other cultural regions. I began writing content online in 2007, starting with BellaOnline - A Voice For Women, where I was the Native American Editor, Folklore & Mythology Editor, and the Appalachian Editor. I also wrote articles for The Examiner, Daily Two Cents, and Yahoo. I am a freelance writer for Fiverr. I am currently an author on HubPages, a member/author of the Maven Coalition, and Senior Editor and an author for The Creative Exiles. Most of what I write takes a lot of research and I love it. Even if it is a fictional story, I will research for accuracy in whatever it takes to make my characters, their era, their location, etc. become realistic to the reader. I hope you enjoy my works. Thank you for visiting.

A very romantic and heart-felt expression Phyllis, nicely phrased and filled with fine imagery. Great work my friend.
